3rd Session of the UN Committee of experts on global geospatial information management

United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD), in collaboration with Ordnance Survey of the United Kingdom, is organizing the Third Session of the United Nations Committee of Experts on Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM). As an inter-governmental mechanism, UN-GGIM aims to play a leading role in setting the agenda and direction for the development of global geospatial information and to promote its use to address key global challenges. The purpose of the Session is to provide a forum to liaise and coordinate among Member States, and between Member States, international organizations and other stakeholders for the provision of authoritative, reliable and maintained geospatial information in support of evidence-based decision making and sustainable development.
