It is important for national delegations to work with their respective Permanent Missions to the United Nations in New York to communicate the composition of their delegations to the Secretariat promptly. Due to the need to organize seating arrangements in Conference Room 4 and to be provided a nameplate on the floor of the conference room, we request national delegations to communicate their participation and composition of their delegations by 12:00pm on 2 August 2019. All others will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis at the first meeting of the ninth session of the Committee of Experts.
The ninth session of the United Nations Committee of Experts on Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM) will be held from 7 - 9 August 2019 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. UN-GGIM seeks to promote international collaboration in global geospatial information management, and as the relevant body on geospatial information management in the United Nations, to report on all matters relating to geography, geospatial information and related topics to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).......
