With an overarching theme ‘Accelerating Implementation: Achieving Resilience’, the Seventh High Level Forum seeks to discuss, and address the use of geospatial information to understand, communicate and manage climate-related issues and challenges, accelerate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the implementation of the United Nations Integrated Geospatial Information Framework (UN-IGIF), explore strategies on developing geospatial capacity, leveraging innovative tools and technologies, and fostering partnerships towards delivering positive national social, economic and environmental outcomes.
The Forum will bring together high-level policy makers and senior government officials with scientists, engineers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and representatives of science and technology communities, the UN system and international organizations in Mexico City to facilitate the strengthening of networks and the sharing and dissemination of knowledge, good practices, approaches and strategies towards advancing national developmental priorities and the 2030 Agenda.
